What You’ll Learn

Our course follows a three-part learning approach designed to give you both confidence and creativity:

Theory & Fundamentals

Book work and group discussions

Understanding color theory, face shapes, and skin types

Required to have models

  • Watch professional makeup artists perform techniques on models
  • See a wide range of looks come to life—on diverse skin tones and face shapes
  • Brush care, hygiene, and precision application
  • One-on-one client care and professional etiquette
  • Practice a variety of styles:
    • Everyday/natural looks
    • Smokey and cat eyes
    • Glamorous and dramatic finishes
    • Cut crease eye techniques
    • Lash application

Final Photoshoot & Portfolio Building

On the final day, you’ll participate in a professional photoshoot.
Bring your own model, work with a top photographer, and experience the difference between everyday makeup and on-camera techniques. Walk away with polished portfolio images to showcase your work and kickstart your career.

Course Details & Certification

  • Duration: 30 hours over 4 Sundays
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Tuition: $2,500 (includes Kit, Pro Brush Set, Makeup Artistry Booklet)
  • Certification: Entry-level makeup artistry certificate from SoNo Academy
