The 50-Hour Eyelash Technician Certification Course is approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health (CT DPH) and authorized by the Connecticut Office of Higher Education (OHE). This comprehensive training program prepares students for state licensure and entry into the professional lash industry.

Theory and Practical Curriculum Overview

Students complete a structured textbook-based curriculum that covers essential topics in sanitation, safety, lash theory, client consultation, and professional practices. In addition to theory, students receive hands-on training in classic and volume lash extensions, lash lifts, and brow laminations, allowing them to build real-world skills in a supervised learning environment.
The curriculum is organized into eight chapters, each concluding with a final exam designed to assess student comprehension. Students must achieve a minimum score of 70% to successfully pass each chapter exam and receive credit hours.
To reinforce learning, students perform practical services on models at the completion of each chapter, applying the techniques and concepts they have studied. This combination of theory and hands-on experience ensures students are fully prepared for professional practice.
Upon completion of all chapters, students begin preparation for the state licensing process through a series of timed practice tests that closely mirror the Connecticut state licensing examination. Once a student consistently achieves a score of 80% or higher on these practice tests, they are guided through the process of submitting their certification to obtain their Connecticut State Eyelash Technician License.
